Weddings

With your input I would design a ceremony that would be very personal and reflect the feelings that you and your partner have for each other.
Whether your ceremony is large or small, it is a very special time and great care is taken to make this time a very memorable one that you can share with family and friends.
My aim would be to conduct your ceremony in a dignified manner that will reflect the special feelings and the special relationship that you both share.

I offer the following options to help make your ceremony special:

* Wine Sharing Ceremony (Wine supplied)
* Candle lighting Ceremony (Candle Supplied)
* Sand Pouring Ceremony (Sand pouring kit $50)

I am able to conduct many other types of ceremonies upon request including Traditional ceremonies such as Celtic Handtying & Ring Warming ceremonies. I have also conducted Star Trek & Vampire themed weddings.

As you can see I am very versatile and open minded, If you are thinking of having a unique ceremony and are not sure how to handle it please contact me. For overseas customers wishing to get married in Australia please contact me personally to discuss your options.

I also supply a Signing Table and Chairs along with my PA system for the ceremony, with your choice of music.

Legal Requirements

If you are Australian-born you must produce an original birth certificate from the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.

If previously married : you must produce your Divorced papers-if these are not available you can get these from Births Death and Marriages.

If either party has changed their name, the official Change of Name Document must be produce. This is a new Birth Certificate issued by Births Death and Marriages.

If born overseas you will require your Original Birth Certificate, Overseas passport showing Date and place of birth, or a Statutory Declaration that I can help prepare for you.

To be married in Australia you must be over the age of 18 years. In extenuating circumstances (if under 18 years of age) I will assist you,to get perrmission for this situation.

A "Notice of Intended Marriage" form is required to be completed and lodged with your celebrant at least one month and one day prior to the wedding date, and no more than eighteen months prior to the wedding date. If you are overseas I will email you this Notice of Intended Marriage form, giving instructions on how to have it completed and signed by the relevant parties. Once this is done, you can fax it to me in Sydney, Australia. The day I receive the fax is the “lodgement date” – this makes it very easy to lodge your Notice in time.

You can obtain a "Notice of Intended Marriage" form from myself or at an Australian Embassy, Australian High Commission or on-line at http://www.ag.gov.au/celebrants following the links.

All certificates MUST be original, and all documents mentioned above, must be translated into English or have an official translation of the document into English attached when sighted by your Australian celebrant.***
